Writing Samples

The writing behind the work.

ClearVisibility's Install stage is built on more than 25 years of professional writing — four published books, years of industry columns, and the B2B content formats that make a company understandable, verifiable and recommendable.

Published books

Paul Chaney is the author or co-author of four books on social media, social commerce and business blogging, published by McGraw-Hill and Wiley.

  • The Digital Handshake: Seven Proven Strategies to Grow Your Business Using Social Media

    Wiley

  • Realty Blogging

    McGraw-Hill

How real estate professionals use blogs to build authority and win clients — an early playbook for content-driven local marketing.

  • The F-Commerce Handbook: 10 Secrets for Unlocking the Sales Potential of Facebook

    McGraw-Hill

A field guide to selling through Facebook when social commerce was brand new.

  • The Social Commerce Handbook: 20 Secrets for Turning Social Media into Social Sales

Years of published columns and contributed articles for the marketing trade press.

  • Practical Ecommerce

Long-running columnist on content marketing and ecommerce strategy

  • MarketingProfs

Contributor on B2B content and social media marketing

What we write for clients

These are the formats the Install stage produces — AI-accelerated, human-refined, and built to be cited.

  • Case studies

Evidence pieces that give AI systems — and the buyers who ask them — something concrete to verify: the problem, the approach, the measurable result.

  • Comparison and alternative pages

The pages buyers request when they ask AI to compare options. Written to be fair, specific, and worth citing.

  • White papers and guides

Longer-form authority pieces that establish how a company thinks, not just what it sells.

  • Landing and service pages

Clear, structured pages that answer the questions buyers actually ask, in language both people and AI systems can parse.

  • Executive ghostwriting

Books and thought-leadership pieces for executives, available selectively. Ask if this is what you need.

Client work is confidential by default, but we're glad to walk through relevant examples on a call. Field Notes and Cited by AI show how we write about this work in public.

Workshops & teaching

The same writing, taught on stage.

Paul is the instructor behind the Book Writing Blueprint Workshop, a working session that takes an executive from a blank page to a book plan, a chapter outline and the first pages written. He has taught social media marketing workshops for the American Marketing Association across the United States, trained agencies including Leo Burnett and BBDO, represented the U.S. Department of Commerce leading workshops in Ukraine, and co-presented the first business blogging workshop held in Asia.
